FUSION//VISITOR CENTRE

This is a design proposal for a visitor centre. The primary purpose of a visitor centre is to provide interpretive and educational information to the visiting public. The brief requirement of the total built-up area between 200sqm to 500sqm with 2 or 3 storey building. This visitor is providing a multiple function space for 50 persons and the concept of “Metamorfosi” transformation existing shophouses into a new design scheme.

Our site is located in brickfield Kuala Lumpur, the meeting point of modern sky scrapper and traditional art deco styled shophouses. The junction connecting Jalan Thamby Abdullah, Jalan Tun Sambanthan and Jalan Rakyat. Its frontage face Jalan Tun Sambathan. Our site is in a strategic location as it is walking distance from office towers and public transport stations causing it to have a large flow of pedestrians that are made up of workers as well as tourist from all over the world.
